At Novel House Publishing, as a non-traditional we believe in the power of stories to inspire, educate, and connect readers, giving authors a greater chance than Simon and Schuster or Penguin House would. We are a book  publisher assistant, DIY publishing home school, ghostwriter, editor, bookstore, book club, and book cover design company.  We go above and beyond and we can meet in person if needed. 

Traditional Publishing vs. Non-Traditional Publishing 

You do not need a Literary Agent to publish or sell your book—we handle both as Publishing Agents. However, if you are seeking to sell your rights, your manuscript must be publication-ready and cannot require extensive story development or heavy editing. Major, multimillion-dollar publishers reject manuscripts that are not market-ready, just like us. 

Realistically, is it a 1% chance that your book will sell over 50 copies. It is a risk to write a book, time and money. And once a book has been published with an ISBN, first-publication rights can no longer be sold to ANYONE, unless you have sold over 100,000 copies or more, no publisher will take it seriously. In fact, its evidence that it did not go viral on it's own.  This is why they will not invest their money in it, especially when they weren't able to edit to their expectations, according to market trends. 

Traditional literary agents typically offer  5% in royalties. We offer 15%—or you may choose to retain 100% of your rights and royalties by paying your own way. 

If you choose to keep your rights -- it is $18.50 for every 550 words, or $14.50 if you only need basic editing. Publications, are dependent on where you want to distribute, they start at $399 and up.
